Ullo All,
Thanks to some of you lovely people I got our 3 way fridge sorted before we started travelling and it's been great - almost too good sometimes freezing the top of the fridge as well as the icebox!
However - last 2 weeks it's really lost the edge when on gas ( which has been great til now). Hooked up to mains at last stop and that was fine so deffo a gas issue.
We're on Europe til end of June so I can't strip it out and just wondered if anyone had thoughts or experience of possible causes and fixes.
Cheers
Paul

sounds like the flue needs cleaning or the burner. worst case the jet is dirty. give it a blow out and check the flame is a nice blue
the fridge is obviously working fine

If it is hot where you are, you will see a marked difference in the fridge temperatures, it is possible your jet needs cleaning to get a better flame and if you have a bottom vent it is easy if you are capable, it could also be the gas valve sticking (it was on mine), you would not have noticed it when the fridge was not having to work hard, it doesn't help you now but I would fit fridge fans for the warmer weather

just had a similar problem with my fridge ,we were touring scotland when ours stopped working on gas but was ok on hook up, I took the vents off and the chimney and used my bicycle pump to blow the some air around the burner, and lucky me it worked fridge ok on gas. so went back to wild camping. it may be worth a try cheers mike
