Just downloaded the latest Garmin worldwide .csv file and installed it as I usually would, ie. using POILoader but when I use Where To?>Categories>Custom POIs the first one in the list is 4000 odd miles away (in Spain?) and I'm in Bakewell  So what am I missing?

I just checked the file Wild Camp.csv

There are 1,979 locations in the file within 100 miles of Bakewell. That's a big chunk of the dataset — the closest is just 0.3 miles away (Bakewell Station Road itself), and they stretch out to places like Ulpha in Cumbria, the Wye Valley in Powys, and Waddesdon in Buckinghamshire right at the 100-mile boundary.

Problem I'm having is with the old POIs you could choose between Wild Camping (UK), Iberia or France on my Garmin but now they are all together it seems to show them in no particular order and the first one that came on the list was over 4000 miles from Bakewell. I have no removed them and reuploaded the ones from October 2025 and all the old options were there and by choosing Wild Camping it once again showed the ones around Bakewell 🤔 So I'm not sure what's going on with them.

Back up the Garmin before updating the maps; this will give you an option to reinstate the Favourites locations after the update; so, assuming your Favourites were OK in the first instance, they should be all present and correct after the new maps have installed

Hello everyone I was just wondering if anyone has any POI download for the garmin sat nav (csv files) when the UK and Europe were separate as I want to go back to the old version as I am not keen on the new one.if anybody could get in touch that would be great thanks.
