i recently had a problem with my nuvi 205.
it lost the maps completly . i contacted garmin who were most helpful.
they emailed me instructions to try & get the maps back but it did'nt work.
on contacting them again they asked me to send the unit back to them in southampton & they would replace it.
this i did & in about 2 weeks i received a brand new 205 nuvi.
this was great especially as my original was over 2 years old & well out of guarantee.
i would highly recommend garmin to anyone.
