That's the posh way of saying I didn't have spaghetti,so I replaced it with rice!
Introducing...rice Bolognese,and very yummy it was too,as im not a huge fan of pasta I actually found it was better than the Italian dish. If anyone wants to have a stab at cooking "Chitalian",you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I do spag bol without the pasta but have boiled potatoes, carrots and broccoli,

well they say you have to have your five a day !

we have it with noodles as i'm not fond of spag, noodles are nice with chili too

We find that both beef bourgignon and hungarian goulash are good with rice.

I like pasta but find spaghetti a bit of a faff to eat.

We usually have tagliatelle or pasta shells with it. But I also love rice, so the idea sounds good.
