fulltimers stuck around the globe

Marianne and Chris have been stuck in Istanbul for about seven weeks. Look for Tread the Globe on YouTube. Looks like they’ve been made very welcome.
Unlike those struggling in this country. Death threats, moved from pillar to post by vigilantes posing as council representatives or police officers. Or maybe even genuine council representatives or police officers posing as vigilantes.
Can’t make it up.

We know of a number of MH ers, who have taken long term rentals for seaside properties, at low season prices.
There are no residents to complain , The owners have income and security if there's a van parked on the drive, Local shops make them very welcome.
How long this situation will last.. How they can eventually return to UK.. How they can handle quarantine...
Is anybody's guess.
They're certainly in a better place here...
If they have no pressing reason to go home..
It's only 7 months to ******...( Does anyone remember ****** )..?
How quickly had the last 5 months passed..
We're starting to feel worried..

Much has been done to rescue people around the world often at great risk to aircrew involved. They have been quarantined in places serviced by coronavirus carriers and have had some deaths and many severe illnesses in their number. Those stuck but surviving are amongst the fortunate, many have lost more than just a van. I personally know some who have contracted the virus whilst helping in repatriation.

Good to hear you are sorted, Dan.
We are leaving our campsite S of Antalya after 12 weeks! Never stayed this long anywhere! It has been a breeze compared to tread the globe who are stuck in a car park. We have the seaside and woods nearby for walking and running. Locals super friendly and helpful and shops fully stocked. So we know we have had a much better Covid than most folk.
Monday sees us wild camping for 2 nights on our way to an apartment near Bodrum. We are renting this with friends (thegreygappers.com) ... Closer to the Greek border and gives us a change of scene.

Good for you. No drain on the NHS, not bothering anyone, taking responsibility for your own health. In short, acting like a responsible adult.
Carry on carrying on.😎
