Hi I full time and despite the rose tinted attitude of some it is far harder than most imagine, when that nasty word of work is involved in the mix.

I am not from surrey so I cant be specific, CC and CCC clubs on cl's techincally will allow you to stop 28 days.

I personally would earmark a couple of sites to alternate between and strike a deal with the owners.

Wildcamping in laybyes and work dont mix in my opinion. ok for a couple of nights perhaps but you need a base.

While I was at college in Luton I stayed on a CC CL You can stay for up to 28 days on a CL.

I found that I only once had to move off due to the stay being longer than 28 days so I found another site for a week and then went back.

Alternating site is the answer. I stayed beside a Pub and had the use of the bath if I wanted it. There was a filling station next door with toilets open all night.

There must be a CL and/or club site within easy range for you? Club site wardens can be funny if you tell them you are working as they look on the sites for recreation only. To me my time away from work is recreation time how and where I spend it is my business.

We are members of the Big Two clubs and the Motor Caravanners' Club and are full time (retired) and will be moving between these CL and Club sites as well as wilding for the next few years. We will be heading to Spain for the winters from now on.

If you are full timing remember you need an address for your licence and insurance.

I would wild camp its free ! why pay money when you can wild camp i have been doing it the last 3 months and working :) i would not give the sites my money its a rip off :)

Book onto a cl or ccs for a few days. Do not mention you are fulltiming. Make sure you like the location and wardens. Ask if you can extend your stay to a week, at the end of the week aks to extend again and so on.

The wardens will know what is going on but will in lots of occassions turn a blind eye- they want the business. If you tell them you are fulltiming and want to live there for ever they are not legally allowed to let you unless they have a residential license
