Full, Free member, Guest ?

What the difference between Full and free members apart from the £15 fee, I realise guests have restricted access,
It just seems to be that there are quite a few free members, who have just joined for the first time this month,
have I missed something?
I thought being a "free member" was a perk for long time members,

Lorry

I am a free member as I live in Spain and not likely to return so for me a lot of the benefits that full members have are not any good here for me but if i lived there I would become a full member as i think this is one of the best sites i have found. If any member or guest are ever in Spain and need help or safe places to park we are always ready to help in Spanish or English. Safe Travel to you all.

I am of the understanding that a free member is limited to reading and replying to posts. Whereby, a full member has all the advantages that WC offers, example: private messages, poi downloads etc, etc.If I am incorrect I am sure Phil will explain it in more detail.

Free at moment

I live in France, but when I get back to the UK, definitely will become full member. £15 is a bargain to support such a comprehensive site.
I'm in rural Dordogne, 25 kms from Perigeux and ditto--anyone ever need a stopping off point, they are welcome here. Pets especially welcome.

i live in the isle of man but planning on a few trips this year to the UK and hoping this site will be off benefit but they seem a friendly bunch:dance:

Hi Lorry,

1) A Guest is someone who has not signed up as a member.

2) A free member is someone who can use the basic forum features but cannot use the full member only sections, download POI files or any of the other enhanced features.

3) A Full member can access everything (this costs £15.00 per year (29p per week))

4) A Full lifetime member is the same as full member but they do not pay, their user title is still full member. Full lifetime members have made a real contribution to the site for the benefit of the other members.

£15 isn't a lot on its own ... but the sheer number of £15's you now need each week is the problem ... I hope to take a trip to France next year and the £15 will be spent then for the trip poi's and wild camping spots, but I fear it will be a one off payment ... no disrespect to the forum or the hardwork involved, just a fact of life.

Cheers

Thanks Phil
that makes It a lot clearer
keep up the brilliant work......

Lorry
