Fuel pumps to be relabelled

Will we go back to good old fashioned British DERV, next April, Andy?
And Horlicks instead of coffee?
Something comforting to think about.

Back to real gallons.:banana:

Something we were reluctant to give up on, we had to buy fuel by the litre but we still measure in miles and compute to miles per gallon.

We going to totally confuse anybody under 50 when we go back to feet and inches

Last week I did some measurements of furniture etc in readiness of having a hip replacement and went for the hip replacement prep class and gave them the measurements which were in mm. Only to be told they would have to convert them to inches as that was what the NHS worked in. Non of the nurses were anywhere near old enough to have been taught imperial units in school. Just stupid, it's 50 years since we supposedly went metric.

The wife sells items on her website regularly to America :dance:

All the descriptions have to be in inches as well otherwise they haven`t a clue what size they are :rolleyes2:

So just got to remember now it’s

A = Petrol
B = Diesel

Why not use P and D or is that to simple for Eurocrats :scared:

Might be worth buying some shares in a miss fueling franchise :idea:

Oh yes, thats much easier. Of course you all know the average person on the street has always been too stupid to know which fuel they need. :p
Thankfully we have these enlightened people to make the whole process a lot easier.

A man walks into a greengrocer's and says, I want five pounds of potatoes please.
And the greengrocer says, we only sell kilos.
So the man says, all right then, I'll have five pounds of kilos.

RIP Tommy Cooper :)

Could have something to do with some calling it gasoline and gas oil and all sorts of other things. In the USA green is diesel and black is unleaded.
