Fuel Prices (again)

Petrol prices

BBC predict petrol could reach £1.20 a litre should live in the sticks already that price how far will it go.

Fuel

Usually goes up before easter ,and the better weather. They no we are going to still buy it.

last wknd it was 1.22 for diesel on the motorway!!!! i am soooooooooooo glad i have converted my van to run on waste veg oil, couple of hours a fortnight supplies me enough fuel for 800-1000 miles after initial set-up @£70 inc conversion to van waste oil is free

ok we need it and have to pay:mad: BUT what if we got together and boycotted say bp stations for a week and then another brand name for a fortnight would this get our message across:confused:we get our fuel and keep running but it would cost them in the end
TIME FOR ANARCHY ME THINKS:eek:

Fuel Prices

A few years ago In New Zealand after a price rise ..no lorries no tractors no cars or vans moved untill the price was reduced took less than a week to bring the country to its knees....Trouble is we Brits wont do anything like that we just moan

Just a point.....

Our government are telling us to stop smoking...= less tax take, and cut down on our alcohol consumption, ( god knows why!! we need something to deaden the pain of living here!! ).... = less tax take.

Not forgetting an election to pay for as well.

And..... you all wonder why the price of vehicle fuel is the most expensive in europe.

There is another three pence TAX per litre to go on on the first of April to add to the speculators rise.

Now now Old Arther, Don't start going down memory lane on this. One's daughter already thinks one is a lying git regarding stories about upbringing in the late 40s & early 50s. As for the grandchildren - well lets just say a lot of eye rolling goes on with a "here we go again" expression on their faces.

Pulled into a filling station this morning to fill up the Smart Car.

Price displayed on Sign 113.9 for diesel

Most pumps occupied so went to first free pump and started to fill with diesel then looked at the price 120.9 it was one of these Shell VPower outlets not the normal diesel pump but the only difference was a small sticker and the PRICE!

only seems like yesterday that we were all dreading breaking the 1 quid a litre mark, its disgusting and needless if money wasnt being thrown away by this corrupt goverment:mad:

You have to ask where is all this money going to that we motorists are paying in extra tax and rising fuel prices!!

Cos it sure as hell ain't going on maintaining the roads we all use!!!

£116 in sunny shropshire mind you that was Friday come Monday
