I was working out fuel usage last night for a summer thrash around Euroland. It can out at around £1000

I reckon if anything is going to finish this motorhoming lark it's going to be fuel costs

I look at it this way, say you hired a cottage or something, you still have your fuel costs to get there so you just have to, like ***** said, dont move around as much, if you go up scotland we stayed in a place for 3 days, we asked the locals if they were happy for us to stay in their car park, they offerd us water, empy loo and even asked us round for proper haggis wi neaps and tatties, mmmmmm wonder if we got the same in england, dont think so, the scots are amazing.

Last Scostsman I encountered called me a sarsaparillla:mad: the bounder :hammer:

Our 3 week holiday last year just over 3000 miles approx £550 in fuel which I didn't think was to bad, but as you've said (I reckon if anything is going to finish this motorhoming lark it's going to be fuel costs .) A lot of people have to budget what theire holiday is going to cost and any increased costs could scupper their holidays. I feel really sorry for people especially with children who have to watch every penny they spend on their annual holidays, or even if they can afford a holiday at all.

John.
