Once they develop cells that are a bit more tolerant to fuel impurity so that normal LPG or industrial alcohol can be used instead of their "special" stuff, they will become more popular.
Also have fairly limited lifetime of the actual fuel cell so routine replacement or service needs to be factored in to the cost

Not sure if they are still doing it, but one MH manufacturer here was offering fuel cells as a standard inclusion.

Since they are always going to need external fuel of some kind, I think I'll stick to solar.

I think Rapido are including them on their top ranges for 2009 (unless it was Pilote, I often get them mixed up!)
