Freshwater East and Pembroke

Spent two nights at the C&MC site in Freshwater East, no tv, or Wi-Fi, actually throughout our tour of Wales we had issues with tv and Wi-Fi reception, even when at the campsite in the centre of Cardiff. We walked three miles into Pembroke to see the town and Castle. The beach near the campsite was fabulous, and the coastal walks were special.

Lovely. We've stayed there too. Very nice.

Fyi That Cardiff site is known for being in a wifi blackspot. It works in reception but its very grim around the whole site and even in Cathedral Road next to the site for some reason.

Also the site is badly needing refurbished. The staff were great, the pitches fine, and the location was excellent, even the price for a city location was good at £32 without EHU, £37 with. But the toilet blocks let the place down badly, hopefully they will do something about this in the near future.

Yes they have been like that for a few years now. Usually clean but very dated. Agree on the folks that run it too: nice bunch.

I wasn’t looking for them. But what I did notice was a lack of seagulls, but there were loads of Crows.
