I applied for motorhome months ago and it arrived in 1 week. Applied for car on 26th April and still not sent out on 10th May according to order tracking. May have to use email attachment print out. As we are entering holiday season with demand rising a warning it is taking longer to process. Looking at map update on website over half of France now has critical air monitoring. Big fines for failure to display.

This is a joke. Just done 3000 miles to South of France and back inc Grenoble area, did not see any signs about Crit Air, and hardly saw any French Vehicles with them....in fact the only ones we did see were attached to brit vans. Did see a lot of speed cameras though, everywhere they are, and 80km coming in 1 July....watch your speed.

I need to get this sorted quickly, so thanks for the heads up Moped.

Can anyone confirm a couple of things please?
1. As far as I remember from previous threads, as my registration document doesn't give a Euro engine category, is it best to choose 'I have no information' and let them decide?
2. Do we pick 'Private Cars' from the vehicle type if the van is under 3500?

Thanks :)

My sticker arrived today so 1 day after reporting the delay. Maybe somebody at Critical Air reads wild Camping!

Anyway if your log book does not state a CO rating it is classified as unknown. And a MH under 3.5T is classified in the private car catagory. My guess is the French don’t want to discourage motorhome users who probably don’t do too many miles, but do want to discourage white van users who probably knock up zillions of miles.
