Well, having got back to the UK from France I am now able to refill my 6kg gas bottles so I don't need this anymore.

The cube is empty, but there is a €30.00 deposit paid on it (so just swap it out for a full one at around €18.00 as usual). It comes complete with connection hose (€50.00) and regulator (€25.00).

If you have 6kg bottles (and a very small gas cupboard like me) and intend to spend anytime in France you'll need this.

As you can see, this cost me €105.00 (£85.00).

Yours for £45.00.

I'm on the Isle of Wight for the next few weeks, but can arrange to meet somewhere in the south.

If you want me to box it up and send it to you it'll cost an extra £10.00 (I'll make up any shortfall if it costs more).

This is now sold - thank you.

Need a french gas cube.

I am a rookie wild camper, about to buy a converted van. The people who have it only camp in the UK. I am planning to go to see friends in France. I have no idea how big a 6kg cube is. I am , cooking etc, for one. Is there a smaller size or is 6kg standard ? Do you still have yours?

Hi, yes I still have it - which surprises me I must admit as i thought it would be snapped up at that price.

It's a little smaller and easier to handle than the small UK Calor gas bottles. If you're going to be on your own (as I was) it would be ideal for you AND save you some money if you go to France. :)

If you take a look at the bit about gas in my post about wildcamping in France it will tell you why I got it in the first place. The link is below:
