'freebie' sites Barnstable, North Devon

Good day all.

We have some business in Barnstable in mid March, as ever - taking the van.
We are North Wales based so this is new territory for us.
Any knowledge of close to town centre sites?

Hi,If you look under Westward Ho you will see couple of reports on Wildcamping here,one of them mine,its a good spot and only 2 miles from Barnstaple,there is a huge carpark in the town big enough for any amount of Motorhomes,We left our Camper on this Carpark and went to Lundy Island for 4 days last September and no probs,at Westward Ho there are Toilets (open all night)and a tap outside for fresh water,good look.
