I have a roll of top class heavy duty stripey cotton chenille furnishing fabric left over, sitting doing nothing in the spare room.

There's more than enough to do a full set of camper seats and backs - can't remember how many yards/metres but definitely plenty - as long as you don't have a gin palace of a camper! ;)

If anybody can use it I can bring it to the Fix It meet, or if anyone would like it before then get in touch and we'll find a way of getting it to you.

The bottom picture of the roll is a bit dark - the first "swatch" picture is pretty accurate for colour.

PS It's about 58 inches wide

Wassup?

Doesn't anyone like the colour :)

No takers yet...

The stripes are a sort of russet brown, mustard yellow and green...

VERY hard wearing ;)

Yes I'm surprised too.
It's a very kind gesture mongoose someone will want it you can bet.
Don't be so impatient.

Trying to clear some space in this here hovel we call home ;)

I've got some cushions on the settee made with this and piped with cream chenille.
They look absolutely fine - wouldn't have them otherwise ;)

Chill out baby it will happen soon enough.

What is it with women, it must happen today where us guys tomorrow will do just fine.

Marie, that is a very generous offer. Who ever takes you up on it will be very lucky.

You could have sold that on eBay for a lot of dosh!

Chill out, I'm sure it will soon be snapped up!

Tomorrow? Tomorrow??!!

In our house it's 1 year to think about it, 1 year to plan it and 1 year to get round to doing it :lol-061:

.... and that's if you're really lucky - it's more like 3 years to think....... etc. etc.
In extreme cases it's been 5 years .....

I'll be dead before most of my projects are finished !!!!! :p :mad1:

{sigh}

Ditto lol

I've lost more jobs lists that the Mrs gives me than I've had hot dinners.

OMG just noticed this thread! Marie, I'd absolutely love to take that fabric off your hands! I've been covering our awful bilious green and yellow check seats with cotton throws but that looks just the ticket for me to do a proper re-cover job. Hope I'm not too late...

only just seen this, r8 bargin, i would have had it but i'm going all black pink and grey,

Jen i can bring pick it up from marie at he Music meet, if that helps any? i am going to the fix it meet in aug, are you?

Aw, Mini :(

Sorry, Splitty mailed me earlier and is taking it for his new van.

If you want good furnishing fabrics we have a couple of fabric stalls at Chester-le-Street market every Friday.
I didn't get this particular fabric there, but I have bought other stuff.

They do some superb heavy duty furnishing fabrics at £2 per metre - the sort of stuff that is usually £10/15/20+ per metre.
It's not seconds either. The extra posh stuff is more expensive (not!) at £3 and £4 per metre. Some absolute bargains!

In fact, if anyone is thinking about recovering the seating in their campers I'd highly recommend a visit to the market in Chester-le-Street if you're in the vicinity on a Friday ;)

Aw no worries Marie... I'm just really happy that someone's van is going to get a lovely makeover :) I wasn't paying attention to the thread, so just messaged you... obviously take no notice of that!

I've done half a job in our van with the cotton throws and stuff, and it's looking nice and bright and sunny... but that's made me lazy about finding a more permanent solution. I'll definitely head for the market when we're up that way.
