Had a bit of a clearout this weekend and one of the items thats headed for the skip tomorrow is an old camping cot in canny nick,free to anyone that can use it otherwise it,s off to be recycled

It's better than throwing it away someone will have a use for your junk, and you can always collect someone else's if you want,

i'm a freecycler, not only did i manage to rid myself of most of the leftover wood and material from our camper refurb, and my kids old toys and clothes, i also managed to nearly kit the van out with, amongst other things, a two ring hob with grill, full set of camping plates bowls cups and cuttlery, various cushions, torches, emergancy ponchos and silver foil blankets, all for the grand total of a couple of hours searchnig the freecycle forums and a couple of nice drives out in the said camper! Now when anyone one I know has anything still useable they want to tip, i grab it and put it on freecycle.
