We have booked our tickets to France via the tunnel, have been informed that you will be able to purchase the breatherliser units at the terminus as and when the law comes into force, dont know about the ferries.

Hi all. I also understand that the new rule comes into effect on 1st July 2012 and that the Police wont fine until 1st November ... I also understand that the French authorities have yet to confirm the specification for the units so any units bought now may not comply.

Hi, I am off to France the end of this week until June I will ask around before buying ( in France a French kit !).

As I understand it if "Le Petite Napoleon" is not re elected it may not come onto the statute books anyway.
