My wife and I attended the caravan and motorhome show at the NEC in Birmingham on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th last. As we were leaving the show on the second evening my wife realised she had lost one of her rings and was obviously very upset about it.
We went back into the hall and my wife went straight to the Ladies as she thought she had dropped it into the waste bin as she was drying her hands with a paper towel. She found some ladies who service the bins and they brought her out into a storage area at the back of the hall and they proceeded to empty large plastic sacks into which they empty the bins. Also a man came along and he jumped into a skip and starting searching. In the mesantime I had gone to Customer Services to enquire if anybody had found the ring, in truth I did not expect a positive result. However i was very surprised to be told that a ring had been found and handed in to another customer service desk in a different hall. As soon as my wife described the ring to the girl on the desk she was happily reunited with the ring. We were so pleased that whoever had found it had the honesty to hand it up.
If the person who found the ring is a member of this site we just want to express our heartfelt thanks and would like if they would contact us. We would also like to thank the ladies who service the toilets as they were most helpful. My email is loconnorie@yahoo.co.uk . It restores my faith in humanity!
