I have changed the factory fitted Tibbe drivers door lock on my 2008 mk7 Ford Transit to a Hykee lock & bezel from Commercial Van Security Solutions - Garrison Locks. the lock is a direct replacement for the original no drilling etc required.
Watch the videos on you tube about picking a transit Tibbe lock it takes 10-15 seconds and the thief is in your van with the alarm turned off, I couldn't believe it.
The Hykee lock costs £95.40
Stainless Bezel costs £35.40 + p&p
Not cheap but I feel a must, I have nothing at all to do with Garrison locks but I found they were the cheapest. Hykee Transit Lock & Bezel.jpg

Not possible, however, on LHD Transits, as the locks are asymmetric and there is no replacement cylinder available for locks fitted to the port-side cab door. On LHD, fit deadlocks, such as Heosafe, and/or disable key access to the Tibbe lock. For example, the Tibbe lock can be filled with adhesive of blocked with part of a matchstick; the lock can still be unlocked with the remote or you can enter via the habitation door.
And the next thing to do is to prevent easy access to the OBD port, either by enclosing it within a locking steel box, by relocating I somewhere where it is difficult to find or by cutting it off and fitting a different type of connector to the cut wires, so that the original port can be easily connected if required for diagnostic purposes.

We also replaced our lock with one of these. As has been said, not cheap but what price security and peace of mind for our beloved homes from home!
