For Sale Swift Kontiki 2.5 Diesel

With huge sadness as we have not long bought this, for sale is our Fiat Ducato based, 1989 (F reg) Swift Kontiki 2.5D. It has power steering, hot and cold running water, blown air heating, cassette toilet, tv with unbelieveable freeview reception, remote control Radio/CD player, reversing camera, parking sensors, fly and black out blinds all round, 89000 miles, three birth, but can convert to one massive approx.7ft square bed.

It comes with a pull out Fiamma Awning, complete with brand new front and sides, all pots, pans, crockery, cutlery... literally everything you need. You could get in and go without having to buy anything except fuel and food.

Fuel consumption is good. We have not owned it long enough to know exactly how good, but on a run it is doing about 30mpg and this scarcely drops when pottering around. It even comes with a two man tent which our daughter and her friend used during heavy rain and stayed bone dry.

Why are we selling it? Sadly I have recently been diagnosed with suspected epilepsy and so have had to stop driving. I was the only driver in the family. We are incredibly upset as we'd just spent months finding our one in a million!

This really is an opportunity not to be missed - it has every manual for anything ever bought for it and has been meticulously maintained inside and out. There are two small spots of surface rust (very superficial) one on each wing, both in the same place near the top of the wing.

Obviously we have to sell it, but we are not prepared to give it away. It has a nearly full MOT (10 months +) and tax. It really is one of those one off motorhomes that come up on rare occasions. We are happy to wait until March / April to sell, but would let it go for £6500 ovno. It really does have to be seen to be appreciated.

Any inspection welcomed. Only known faults are the two spots of rust, one blind needs retensioning and the gears are sloppy (as on all of these) - nothing wrong with them, just take getting used to.

If interested please telephone 01443 675900 (follow instructions and you will get through!) or 07878 863434.

Very very sorry to hear this news casp you must be gutted i know i would be.
But work round it don't give up, come back at life from a different angle and good luck.

I' a very happy Caspar. After tests it has been confirmed I do not have epilepsy. I'm not able to drive for another five months, but all being well will then be back on the road. It is therefore with HUGE delight that I shall be continuing to meet the wonderful crowd here that make Wild Camping such an enormous pleasure.

The above vehicle is no longer for sale - YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!:dance:

I hadnt seen this thread until tonight. It is a refreshing change to see a happy ending especially when it is obvious you and your family derive a lot of pleasure from your motorhome.

Good Luck
