Here we have for auction our Fiat Ducato Pioneer Autovilla 1104 4/5 Berth Motorhome.
It has only done 59,939 miles from new, as verified by old MOT's and related paperwork, I have a massive folder of history including the original sales invoice for the motorhome.
This motorhome is a fully winterised German coach build C Class motorhome.
It's in pretty good condition for the year and features a very desirable, rear U shaped lounge model with triple aspect views, a lovely place to relax!
You can seat six people quite comfortably in the lounge area and it has ample cooking facilities.
It has a seperate shower/washroom and toilet cubicle and all is reasonably tidy inside
Appliances & Features:
-> Atwood GH6-3 Storage Water Heater
-> Louvre Vent on main door
-> Banro Beam Specialist C Section rear bumper

-> Toughened Double Glazed Glass for the front, side and rear windows in the coachbuilt cabin area of the motorhome.
-> Pump Up air suspension fitted to the rear for levelling if legs aren't being used.
-> Leisure Battery connections under drivers seat (there is a battery there also that is holding charge)
An Added bonus is that the rear bed (lounge area) makes up to become a spacious King Size bed, also has sleeping over the cab in the front area and also the front seats can be utilised.
The Pioneer Autovilla range was designed to be a live in motorhome and features loads of cupboard storage, large kitchen cupboards and drawers, wardrobe, 4 x upper storage cupboards, underseat/bed storage and storage compartments under the front seats.
It has been stood since the beginning of 2010 bar a few journeys round the block etc to keep things moving.
This is all the good stuff, now to the not so good stuff.
You need to be realistic, this motorhome is 27 years old and is not an oil painting, It has the usual rust on the cab area, nothing too sinister the usual from sitting around etc, it has been handpainted with some kind of hammerite on the bonnet and wings, not too bad but worthy of note.
It has had some paintwork done on the rear, (this is far better) the red etc, presentable enough in my eyes, but obviously this is subjective, but unlike a lot of motorhomes I've seen, there is no major marks or scrapes on the rear of the motorhome.
There is no damp inside the vehicle (this is the main thing), the central skylight has been tied shut with string due to the handle coming off a couple of years ago, no issue and it doesn't leak.
The appliances haven't been used in some time and I haven't managed to test them all, but I have no reason to think that any wouldn't work now, but I cannot guarantee all of them due to age etc.
It has had some money spent recently including a New Starter Motor and Battery with a view to getting it back on the road, but due to my uncles illness and due to my young age and driving history, I cannot obtain insurance on the vehicle myself.
It had some work end of 2005 early 2006 via a motorhome dealer resealing the seams of the roof, so it doesn't leak, there are a couple of discoloured areas on the cealing, but I can certainly say there are no leaks.
I had a mechanic friend look at it for an mot and he couldn't find alot wrong with it, but the things we know it needs is the middle section of the exhaust (this is blowing quite loudly) and the drivers mirror reattaching (it's a bolt on fit, just required a new nut and bolt), there probably is more needing doing than we know about, but all brakes etc seem to work correctly and feels nice and stable on the road etc.
The running isn't great from cold, popping and backfiring a bit, but settles down and will idle fine when warm so probably just needs a good tune up etc.
I did get a quote of around £65 for the exhaust section which is needed, but I also got a quote for the whole system which was only just over £150 from my local Tyreland near Mudeford which I though is quite cheap.
The nice thing is that there are no cambelts etc to worry about on this engine as it is a pushrod engine so I've been told
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO BE REALISTIC ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE BUYING THIS IS A 27 YEAR OLD MOTORHOME WITH NO MOT OR TAX. YOU ARE VERY WELCOME TO VIEW ETC BUT PLEASE DO BID TO BUY.
I WOULD RECOMMEND TRANSPORTING IT AWAY, BUT IT DOES START, RUN AND DRIVE, ALBEIT NOISELY (EXHAUST) SO THE RISKS WOULD BE DOWN TO YOU.
