folding seat

Hi im looking for a single folding seat that i can bolt to the floor in the back of my van so i can carry 4 people does anyone know of anyone making them or where i can get one as i have looked everywhere and cant seem to find one i have seen a few out or rangerovers on ebay and wonder if they could be made to fit ?

Try ebay for single rear seats from a VW T4 Caravelle (they have two singles & one triple), they clip in and out with mushroom type bolts so can easily be removed. There should be some about because a lot of people convert T4s to campers

Don't forget, you need to consider seatbelt mounting points if it's to be used as a travelling seat.

There are breakers who specialise in Landrover products.

Yeah i have been looking at landrover seats but without seeing one its hard to see if it would just bolt in or if i would need a frame built......

I have a fold up seat from a speedboat, it also has a swival system, i'll upload some pics if you are interseted, i'm in sussex/hampshire borders, if you want it its yours if you make a small donation to the website fund.

im interested but as it happens im in asia till may , but if you can upload photos im sure i can get something sorted to get it collected does it bolt to the floor and have seat belt mounting points ?
