Fogstar orientation

Do lithium batteries have to be in this orientation ? Just wondered as there is no liquid inside can they be stood on end and is there any problems with doing this

I have one fitted and the instructions stated it could be fitted on its side.

Orientation, of the battery, is not a problem...

So, Lithium CELLS can be used in any orientation EXCEPT upside down. The cells are usually mounted in the case upright BUT there's no guarantee of that and if the manufacturer has the cells lying on their side and you turn the battery also on its side then the cells could end up.upright OR upside down. Best to check with the manufacturer just to be sure.
