Fogstar Black Friday Deals

The 230ah seat base battery which fits under the seat is a fantastic option for anyone struggling for space to add a battery. Lithium prices are so affordable now, why are converters still fitting lead batteries.

Blimey! Those prices are not that far off my monthly pension

But they're a good deal if you're in it for the long haul, I suppose.

Wait until you then add the costs of all the other stuff you need, panels and someone to fit it all. £3k or not far off.

Victron mppt £130
Victron b2b 30amp £170
430w solar panel £64 each

Where are those panels from? The Victron 140w panels I was quoted for were about £160 or something like that. Each! Then of course if you are not doing it yourself there is a pretty hefty Labour charge and other bits and pieces. I had quotes from VanBitz and it was about £2.5k and that wasn't even Lithium! Lead carbon and Off Grid solutions which was the best solution so far and Lithium was not far off £3k all in.

Bimble solar

I'd have to look at the specs and the old quote as we might be comparing Apples with Pears for all I know. I could be wrong but I assume like everything you get what you pay for. Generally,
You're a very light user Barry, if you're usage stays the same you don't need a mega bucks 300Ah lithium setup. Buy what suits you NOT what everyone else has.

I think thats what we established elsewhere on my thread. Well for now at least.

The 230,280 and 300ah are all the same size and will fit under a Ducato seat, if laid on their side. Had a 300ah fitted last week by Offgrid Power Solutions.
Nice people and a professional fitting.
