Is there any possibility that my Dometic RM 7655L fridge can select 12v while parked and draw enough power to flatten starter battery, i know in theory this cannot happen, but i believe did, Burstner 2007 821, also had a blown 20amp fuse that feeds fridge power to the Electoblock 220-2 .

Anything is possible,

a split charge setup that has gone wrong maybe ?

Think i would look for a stuck shut relay which feeds the fridge from the starter batt when driving,it should open when the engine alt stops charging once you have switched of the donky.
Also if you bought used make sure some smarty pants has not been messing with the wiring, this is a more common fault with vans.
