Flat satellite dish

Has anyone tried a flat satellite dish? If so how well do they work?

I have a 1991 Hymer S660 - the dish has been battered over the years by low trees.
If they work I would prefer to replace it with a flat dish that avoids having to have a folding arm for the LNB.

Hello
I fitted the Camos crank up plus last year and am very pleased with it.
Its easy to fit looks, very neat and tidy (you can hardly see it when flat). You can find lots of fitting instructions and tips online. The crank handle looks fine on the van ceiling.
With a little practice you can tune it in very quickly in many cases quicker than an automatic. I bought a satelite finder with it but found its quicker to tune in just using the sat receiver which I have set to default Sky News (strongest signal). You get a small compass with it but I usually just look around where other dishes are pointing.
I have got most of the UK channels as far as the south of France and eastern Germany. I met a chap in Greece who had the same dish and said he got a good UK signal in Sicily but I can't confirm this. I think it depends on how long you want to spend fine tuning it. I loose patients after a few minutes and get a book out.

Like I said I'm well pleased with it.
