good day' does anyone know a good place to camp up near flamborough head please .many thanks

54.116347,-0.083098 large car park. I have stayed there a few times.

unlike bruce i have tried a few times and not got away with it ? have stayed here 54.146661,-0.169393 with no problem

I get away with it because i only use such sites in winter, I also have a bango which isn't as intimidateting to the anti motorhome mob as a large camper. I also use my Blue badge and have been known to plead infirmaty making me unable to move on at the present time.:D
Just a thought, the ship inn between F;lamborough and Sewerby used to be OK ansd its still on the POI's

We walked passed the ship inn Aug, last year, it was rammed pack with vans, awnings out, kids running around, dogs barking, it looked hellish to me, but might be different out of season

Stayed there a couple of times early and late season £10 a night. Think they have a limit of 5 vans a night so best to book. Tel.

I wasn't been funny, it was my observation, the site was rammed and was so noisey, a brilliant weekend for you maybe, but sorry its not for me, each to their own

my mam and dad have had a static on thornwick bay caravan park ( in flamborough) for the last 20 years,,,the locals hate tourists up there, trust me...this is a village full of do-gooders and interfering to88ers...the people who own the caravan parks own half the village,if you are parked up anywhere in flamborough, somebody will see you, grass you up and get you shifted....
if you want to try your luck, there are large car parks at the north landing, south landing and the lighthouse,,,good luck to you if you get away with it,,but take on board what i've said.....
there are plenty of rural roads just outside bridlington and flamborough and for me you'd be better finding a spot on there.
