Heading home tomorrow after spending 5 nights on a CS site near Penrith with my new home on wheels. A few minor issues resolved with tablet touchscreen control panel otherwise things worked fine. Batteries lasted ok for 3 days then went onto a hard standing to use ehu to recharge. Watching the cricket for 10 hrs with my sky box running through an inverter and my 21” tv that uses 3 amps an hour might be the reason the batteries were down to 12.3 volts even with the solar working lol !
Dog decided to barge her way through the pleated curtain that separates the bed area breaking the plastic runners and hooks so will have measure up on my return home and replace them.
One thing I did notice and I’ve seen this before with other motorhomes is on a level standing I had to use my ramps on the front to level the motorhome. Had full water tank which is over the rear axle but not more than 75kgs in the garage so it looks like the front is low. Anyone else’s motorhome the same ? My previous pvc was level when on a level hard standing.

My A class Hymer sits low at the front and has done since new. The van has the uprated Goldschmitt springs, so not sag or fatigue. I think I am right in saying that many Hymers are like this. Milenco Quattro ramps needed frequently unless we are wilding or parking on a slope where there is not a nice view.

My iris bus sits low at front end,but im thinking torsion bar suspension is not set up right, bumpy rds tents to lift front end as the bottom arms hit top bump stops

Our van is lower at the front (Tag axle on a Renault Master). It's not much so the yellow Fiamma ramps are near enough. Usually I eye up the lay of the land to avoid using ramps.

Glad your new van is working out OK. :)

Steve glad you got away in the new. Van it must have been torture it sitting out and you not able to drive.
Have noticed a lot newer vans using wedges
Ours sits level but recently a bit we were on I dropped the rear suspension down to level out
Van looks lovely

Yes great to get away at last. All being well I am heading up to Skye then onto Lochinver area next week for a week or so.
Just waiting on daughter liaising with grandsons father so I can take him with me, he’s desperate to see the Loch Ness monster so I will have to take him up past the loch.
To be honest any loch will do, hell not know the difference lol !

Reading through the Pilote warranty paperwork last night a section states I must get the wheel alignment / tracking checked after 900 miles ?
Never had this with any of my previous vehicles, anyone else had to do this ?

My Pilote on a Renault master has always been low at the front. Since the back springs were uprated it is worse. You get used to walking up and down hill in the van. Fields are good as you can usually find an undulating place.
Enjoy your Scottish trip with Grandson.
