first time out

Hi all,
first time out in my transit ci her name is dorothy ( named after wifes mum who recently died of cancer) it been a long drag i bought it of ebay aaaaagggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh got her up and running fixed the gas so she runs of petrol and gas give her a repaint and a clean up inside dont look to bad now for a 30 year old van,
anyway this morning decided to take her for a run me and mrs started off from home up to preston from preston down to southport then ainsdale stoped there for 3 hours came back via liverpool st helens in all the van ran 100% all the way on gas at 50p a litre.
cant wait to go down on south coast next month.

yea 2litre as you say runs great on both gas / petrol

one good thing about the 2 litre is if a timing belt goes you dont wreck the valves as with the majority of engines 9 times out of ten you get away with it and they are a doddle to change

i mean u cant miss us 6ft 3in tall bald and 20 stone the wifes the same he he no shes only5ft 7 in but same weight.
