First time on a ferry with the motorhome, going to Mull

Is there anything I should be aware of when travelling on the ferry to Mull on Friday?

Cant see there being any issues. The weather may not be good and the trip may have to be cancelled.

Is there anywhere that I should not miss on my visit?

All the best,

I presume you are going Oban - Craignure?

If so was pretty straight forward, seem to remember the ferry 'port' being small (as they all are), but well organised.

Mull is a stunning place...........get yourself down to Fiddens Farm, possibly one of the best spots in the UK (proposed to the other half a couple of years ago there), right overlooking the beach, beautiful........will be quiet this time of year too.

thanks,

how long is the drive from Craignure?

Loch Buie is a "must see" - turn left at Craignure!
The road down is narrowish and you need to keep your mind on what you're doing but it's well worth the drive down. I've seen the bin lorry going down there so it's not too bad, just very twisty. Plenty of wild camping but take water with you. If there's a full moon it appears to turn the Loch gold - absolutely wonderful. Walk along to the castle. If you're lucky you will see dolphins in the water - we did! Lots of Sea Eagles flying around.
