He just bought a new boat and decided to take her for the maiden voyage. This was his first

Boat and wasn't sure of the procedures.

He consulted his local boat dealer for advice, but they just said "don't let the boat trailor

Get too deep in the water but deep enough that the boat will float.

Well, he didn't know what they meant by that as he could barely get the trailer in the water

You're gonna love this guy!!!

Folks, you just can't make this stuff up!

And once again, these people breed...and on occasion they vote!
Scary!

I read a true story once, in america, ( it could only be!! ), a guy launched his boat on a lake and found it felt very slow and hard to drive even at full power.

They got the boatyard mechanic out who checked the engine and found nothing wrong so they sent a diver down to look at the hull.

When the diver came back up he was almost choking with laughter through his face mask.

The guy had only gone and launched his boat still fixed to the trailer!!!!!

years ago we had a kid working with us who was an only child and got every thing he wanted off his dad,so he talked his dad into buying a really smart speed boat all week he was telling us how they were going to bridlington with the boat, so on the following monday morning he tells us about arriving in brid but before they got it launched a guy turned up to inspect it and stopped them because the didn't have the right safty kit on board (flares life jackets ect )so home they came daddy bought all the gear for the following weekend,so the following monday he was very quite it turned out that they turned up got inspected all ok so they launched got 100yds out and sunk they forgot to put the seacock in:eek::D
