First test weekend away...

Well still not finished completely BUT we managed to head off for a short weekend away in our 'work in progress'

Awning is deployed and bed set up for first time... and beer open...

Cheers for the warm welcomes folks ....

Landed back after a fab couple of days over on Anglesey ...headed for Penmon lighthouse BUT soon decided it was far far too busy, camping cheek by jowl with a heap of other folks just isn't what wild camping is about for us,
However we found a more secluded spot not far away with a heap of flat space and the sea just outside the door ...AND only one other car joined us later on a young couple with a small tent who headed off and pitched a good way away from us .

Even had a cracking spot for a bit of sea fishing to boot ...then later on we found a beach around the corner from Red Wharf bay to run the dogs on ....All good stuff .
