We went to our 1st motorhome show last weekend in Shepton Mallet.
Is that really it!
Arrived Friday lunchtime, parked up and off to the show.
2hours max! it was all over and we were sitting in the bar come cafe.
Saturday lost to know what to do so went back out to visit Shepton Mallet. mmm now there's a town dieing on its feet. So it was back to the show for the evening entertainment.
The entertainment was not bad at all and we both had a good laugh.
Sunday morning off to the Clarks village for my wife to have some retail therapy.
She was in her element and my wallet wanted to leave early.
Anyway dispite a poor show it was not a bad weekend.

Are all shows like this?

Some shows are really poor.

I went to GMEX last year and it was very small. One hall mostly caravans, another hall with accessories. Yawnsville.

I'd say go to a big show like NEC or Excel. 7 or 8 huge halls packed with stuff, you won't see 2/3 of it even if you spend the whole day. Mind you Sat/Sun this year were so packed you couldn't get near stuff at times, so those shows are better tackled in the week.
