Hi all,

Does anybody know what has happened to Firefox? He used to post a lot and was very helpful to a lot of members. He was doing a self build and I think he might have had a blog going as well. I remember him saying that he was doing the electrics along marine methodology. I hope he did not try the van out in the Bermuda triangle.

He will get quite a surprise at the changes on here if he has been out of contact for a while.

Hi Maingate
Well done for looking out for him;)-----
Yes connecting live wires whilst standing with one bare foot in a bucket of water:p
Bye for now:D

Firefox is back up!

Thanks for the thoughts guys :)

Yes I'm still around, just upgrading to an new version!

I've been so busy doing my build, I haven't had time, but hoping to get back into the swing now.

I've now got the windows in, plus rooflights, turbo fan, gas safety and battery safety, together with fridge and hook up/RCDs etc working so although not finished I can take her on sites. Even the snooty CC ones which I joined so I can use the 5 van sites.

Haven't noticed any changes yet but I'll keep a look out ;)

Thanks for the update on `SS Titanic`.:p

The CC might allow your van on site but when they take a look at the driver, it will be an eviction for you.

Ah quite possibly ;) I'm not the conventional sort.

I got on OK with the last couple of CC site owners I've met though. Sheepcote valley CC in Brighton could be a different matter. I've been camping in their access road for the last 10 years and have even slept in a car in their carpark (I had paid for a tent, but a friend was using that).

Belgian said never camp in a parking, but what about camping in a parking in a camping. He didn't cover that!
