I'm sure many of you knowledgable peoples will already know how to do this but in case there's anyone else like me out there - this is for you !
We've used Google maps to find all sorts of things when we've ARRIVED somewhere but never known how to look along a route once we've set it up.
It couldn't be simpler , and here's how:
Once you've got the route on screen , just select the blue button: "START" , then when that's up and running , you'll see a little magnifying glass in the top right hand quarter. Press it and several choices of things to find along the route will already be there and if what you are looking for isn't, just press the other magnifying glass which you'll see at the bottom of the list. Now type in what you're looking for.
You can also type in a "place" and that will enable you to build up a longer route to look along.
PM me for more explanation if needed.
