hi
can i buy a fiberglass DIY repair kit,as a small tree stump jumped out behind me
and its damaged the back of my camper a little?

cheers kevin.

Try Google-ing Isopon - a brand name for glass fibre materials and kits.

Should be obtainable at Halfords.

As you did not say exactly where the damage was, make sure that it is not plastic instead of fibre glass.

I cracked my rear bumper recently and had to have the job done professionally.

Not cheap, but it looks like new again.

go to your loacal specialist paint suppliers , there you will get proffessional help for materials and best way to tackle job and matched paint areosol in one go!!!
myself i use fibreglass mixed straight out of tin but others use the matting and you paint on the resin but i hate the mess yuk!!! also if you have a gap to span use aluminium mesh! (again from paint shop) and the best prices any where!!

if where you have damaged you van is plastic then a fiberglas repair will not be effective ,one easy way to tell if the panel is plastic or g.r.p is to look, if you can see the glass matting in the crack then you can repair. if it is just a clean crack then you have plastic that will need a specialised repair known as plastic welding the majority of pannels are plastic nowadays cheap to produce but dear to replace
