Has anyone stripped a Fiat 2.8 gearbox and counted how many teeth are on the reverse gear, also how many teeth are on the diff. I would also like to know if anyone has stripped the latest Fiat gearbox to be able to compare the ratios with the earlier design. Once the ratios have been compared then maybe a conclusion can be arrived at regarding the judder being experienced on some of the latest motorhomes. Another thing to consider is the composition of the material of the clutches which can have a grabbing sensation when cold, I have been told that the material specification has changed for health and safety reasons and asbestos has been discontinued.
at the moment I hav'nt had any probs and this is my second fiat mh, fingers crossed
