I'd been looking at an upgrade to my Fiat ducato X290 Autotrail PVC stereo for a while but I'd been put off by some of the poor facias available which make the screen stand proud of the dash and look a bit naff. I looked again recently and found there are some really good aftermarket facias available. The original stereo was a Continental 250 VP1 (without DAB).
I fitted the Pioneer SPH=DA77DAB stereo. It has wireless Android Auto and Apple car play and will accept a video input and reverse gear selector which should mean I can get rid of the windscreen monitor for my reversing camera (once I receive the right x-over lead).
The stereo is excellent. Big improvement in sound quality, all of the steering wheel controls work with none of the "flashing clock errors" which I think plagued previous conversion kits.
I bought it all from Dynamic sounds who were quick to respond with queries. All in, about £450 for everything. About £400 cheaper than the quote from my local car audio place.
Some photos and links to the kit if anyone is thinking of doing the same:

Note, you do have to modify the chassis mount by chopping a section of the plastic. Instructions here:

Installing the new stereo. Note you need to cut some of the plastic chassis mount away to accept the new double chassis.
