FIAT X250 2008 onwards and similar Peugeot Boxer models
After reading on another forum of someone waking up in a French Service area to find an intruder inside the van, they checked and found damage to the driver side door just below the handle, prompting me to check mine.
And this is what I found: Rubber pushed back.....
Doesn't look much from the outside, similar on the pass side too.
Stripping it down shows how the metal was peeled back
A new reinforcing plate was fitted as repairing the damage
I haven't been broken into so either someone failed or more likely the previous owner had the attacks.
Plenty of YT vids on how to take the door apart, (But those push fitting that hold the door card on the earlier ones (hardboard) are a barsteward to refit.
Only doors with a key hole need protecting, ie drivers side, maybe rear on a PVC, but of course if on the continent then dumb burglars may well just go for the left side asa that's the side for LHD vans
