Few days in the Peak District

Hi Just had a few days traveling round the Peak District.

Stopped and had Lunch at Monsal, at the bottom in the layby. As this was our first time there I was surprised to see an "No Overnight Parking" sign given that this layby is talked about a lot. Is this a new sign or does it just get ignored.

We didn't stay the night as we wanted to Watch the football the local pubs weren't showing it.

Went back into Hope, and parked at the Station, having watched the game in the Shoulder Of Mutton.

We drove into Chapple, and then into Buxton - weather was fantastic, Parked up a quite Street the other side of the Park, near the Boating lake, bit of a slant but fine for the one night.

Lots of other MH out enjoying the sun.

Stayed at Matlock Bath railway station car park a couple of weeks ago. 50p for the night and a couple of pubs and a chippie very close. Parked at the far end near council sheds. You are close to the railway but no trains during the night.
