Anyone know of a really cheap way to go Scotland-Ireland return with a 6.5M Camper?

Got a load of gear to get to the West Coast for a new Campervan build I've designed and wondering about delivering it myself instead of Courier (which could be around £100 with enough insurance) and have a wee break at the same time.
Also means could take batteries over instead of £50 battery courier charge on top.

On the ferries, Cairnryan to Belfast is the cheapest route. But I know people have used the freight shipping. Liverpool?
I’m sure there were some other threads about this.

Truck ferry from wales to warrenpoint £105 otherwise as above £200 scotland to larne

You could try Nutt Travel and see if they can do something for you - they do discounts, ie free trailer/caravan etc on selected weekdays.

Trevs post had the magic word that jogged my memory .... "Truck"!

Just checked seatruck. For my van would be £124 each way. More than I want to spend to primarily save about £150 on courier fees (have to add in a fair amount of fuel as well and wouldn't chose to have a Irish break this time of year as it will be even better than usual in October)

But best value so will try and remember seatruck for a future break :)
