Mom sounds expensive maybe late booking?
Wife won't float so have to tunnel but booked many months ago for a lot less I think !

I got £64.80 one way a couple of weeks back, 9.25am sailing, 7.5m van and 2 adults.

I've never been able to get anywhere near that price on the chunnel.

We use the tunnel regularly so buy the frequent traveller package. A return crossing (7m van, two adults one dog) costs us around £74.
This is off peak, obviously if we want to travel at other times it costs more, but we prefer off peak times as there is generally less queueing in the warmer months.
