Ferries

Hi everyone,
After a lot of discussion between me and her who must be obeyed, we have just booked our ferry crossing for next Sept. In the end we decided to go with LD Lines. The cost was £314 including a cabin for the overnight crossing. We could have gone with P&O from Dover for £98, but we decided that Portsmouth - Le Havre was the better option, as we live in Somerset. Anything to avoid the M25. All we have got to do now is decide where to go when we get to the other side. That might cause some more heated debate over the Christmas pud. We have got 18 days abroad, so should be able to do a fairly relaxing tour. Happy Christmas everyone. :) :) :) :)

I have used LD LInes and rate them.

However, their outward crossing is a slow overnighter, Next time I'll have two dogs with me and think it might be a bit long for their bladders!

have a look at the west coast of france.. the area of aquitaine long loneley beaches and few english...i go every year to a place called le gurp.

Thanks Steve, I'll look it up on the map. The west coast is definitely in our itinerary.
Regards,
Boatman
