The Motorhome has passed its MOT so I thought it deserved a 'nearly end of season' valet, however, when you are middle aged and have slightly more upholstry on your couch than slimming world would like, it's not an easy climb 10ft up the ladders whist balancing the Karcher, a stiff brush and lots of elbow grease. However, when I got to the top my efforts were awarded with 9 points for artistic impression and 3 for star quality from the girl next door - dead chuffed.

Sadly I wasn't as chuffed with the pale green roof with blobs of bird droppings all over it. I didn't realise I was such a clatty bug*er. But hey ho, a women's works is never done, so onwards and upwards.

Balancing the Karcher in one hand whilst dangling off the roof is never a good look particularly if you are rather over zealous with the foam sprayer - apologies to the the two year old who now has a foam afro but on the plus side the job is done and it's looking fantastic.

Think I deserve the JD and coke now. Have a fab weekend fellow wild campers.

clean roof

Good job.I did mine last week with double concentrate flash liquid and soft yard brush, dried it with two bath towels then emptied four cans of asda brand wax furniture polish on it and leave as is £2 job done.

Furniture polish? Like pledge ? What does that do?

clean roof

yes just like pledge.I spray all the roof paint work with it but not polish it,you then have a nice layer of wax which makes cleaning a lot easier next spring.
