Feeling ripped off

Just bought the latest all the aires France north and south books (4th edition) and looking through
Apart from the front covers that have changed slightly, they are just the same inside,
So if you are thinking of updating to lasted edition, my advice would be don’t bother

Complain and send them back. Thats disgraceful.

We’ve been deliberating over buying the newest edition as ours is probably four or five years old, and they aren cheap, so thank you for the advice, you’ve made my mind up, I won’t be replacing them.

We gave up on the books a few years ago. Too many aires not visited for years, many closed or moved without reference in the books. We don’t particularly like their reviews either.
We now use the WEBSITE BLOCKED BY ADMIN app and Searchforsites app.

I've never seen the point in using the books, which are out of date by the time they're printed, never mind distributed. For France, I use the www.campingcar-infos.com online database and also pay for a 3-month subscription to the app, which can be used online and offline. I also use the WildCamping Location App, which has some excellent locations in France.

I really like this site.

You get a 360⁰ panoramic sweep of the aire, so you see what to expect.

I like the book, but won't bother to update it. Thanks for the info
When you are registered with Vicarious books you can access updates to the books online free of charge. Just updated our Spain and Portugal one, that along with the note we make for our own use still make it a very useful tool’ one the armoury. Used along with other sources of information gives you a good range of alternatives for an area. Plus it never has a flat battery or cannot get a signal.

We're the same, now we use WEBSITE BLOCKED BY ADMIN, it didn't let us down on our recent adventure.

Wait until you get off the ferry in France.
Go into the nearest large supermarket.
Look amongst the books and Mags.
Each year the bring out a fresh copy of Aires de Service des Campingcars.

It costs buttons, ( or boutonnes ).
We used to buy one every third year.
All the info and maps.
