faulty water pump

Hi i have a autotrail dakota . there is a problem with the water pump. the pump is turned on at the control panel and then when a tap is used and then turned off there is still a discharge of about 4amps showing. A new pump has been fitted but the problem is still there. I have tried tapping pump but to no avail.
Any suggestions please!!!! my hair is grey enough:

Is the pump still running?

If not try disconnecting the power to the pump by taking the electric feed of the terminal and see if the discharge dissapears.

yes I have done that and there is no discharge.So where do I go from there?

Is this a Fiamma pump ?
They have a (cheap Chinese) microswitch built in which is not always working as it should.
 
The Fiamma micro-switch is available as a spare part if you want to replace it, give us a ring.

thanks for your help and advice.sorry about delay in getting back to you. The problem seemed to put it self right then it woke me up about 4 in the morning even though it was switched off at the control panel. I took all the fuses out of the fuse box and still iot continued to run. I am now taking it back from whence it came they can sort it
