Hi everyone, Coming down from Inverness a couple of weeks ago we headed off the A1 onto the coastal trail. Starting near Broxburn to Berwick on tweed and ended up at Eyemouth. This was a first for us, but what a lovely spot. We spent a happy couple of hours parked up by the harbour watching seals & chatting to locals. At the far end of the harbour is a large parking area that used by overnight campers and we informed that it would be "Nae bother" if we had decide to stay. Anybody used this one ?

Has a quick look on Google Maps as we may be going up that way later this year - where exactly is the parking area?

Hi, As you enter Eyemouth on the A1107, you come to a roundabout take the ( unnamed ) road on your left that loops around the back of the golf course and ends up at the harbour entrance. Plenty of room to park up.

Interestingly, in the harbour, you will find a 'local' seal who feeds there.
A guy sells mackerel from a van or trailer which visitors lower down on a roped device onto a floating platform. The large wild seal leaps out of the water onto this floating fixed platform and takes the fish. This I think has been devised for the entertainment of children and is quite amusing to watch.
