A. Air assist suspension.

B. Speed limiter.

C. A different MH.

Solar & Gasit (or other)

1 When we bought ours 8 years I got a reversing camera fitted. It is not a very good image and so a waste
Modern cameras with a decent display MAY be worthwhile.

2 a Thatcham alarm system........... Van not been stolen so happy

When we started using the van for 5 month in the summer

  • Solar panel 120Watt an absolute MUST (£400 but cam be cheaper)
  • Gasit (2 11kg tanks with BBQ point £600) very very good. It paid for itself (versus calor) in 3 years also good for mainland Europe and very convenient.
  • We also have a Cadac BBQ which we like we have used it extensively.
  • Awning would always like one But see other post re securing etc we use 8 in Spikes tie-downs and/or bungee elastics and NEVER leave it out either at night or if the vehicle is unattended

Recent purchase of a disklok

Much the same.
A)
Gaslows.. A no brainer. Solar panels, 2x 20w, freestanding, going into van's fitted regulator.

B) fitted TV antenna/ amp.. Never used .
C) Joanna Lumley

The only extras I would like to or intend to fit are cruise control and a DAB radio/CD system with decent aerial.
Six wheel drive would be nice too :)
Everything else I have fitted/upgraded myself.

Bought van new, so ordered with what I wanted. Air con, reversing camera, suspension seat, heavy duty tow pack. Comes standard with cruise control. Didn't want distance sensors on bumper because they'd be clogged up with mud half the time. Could do with a better display for reversing camera, but it's ok. Added LED lights which are great.
Don't want fixed awning, It would be ripped off, so use Decathlon one, with magnets to attach to van. Ok so far. I do like my little Petromax firebox which cooks dinner with a few lumps of charcoal and packs away nicely.

Van came with reversing camera, 5 metre awning and alarm, I've fitted 2 extra leisure batteries, external gas point and LED interior lights.
The van works fine for us.

Loads of wiring, wish I knew what it was for, or even where it goes.

Perhaps this isn't what you meant.

Not sure why you have 169feet of co-ax for aerials that dont work, is that a feature of Adria or a previous owner? :)
