Does anybody know which companies give European breakdown cover without any restrictions such as 60/90 days weight of vehicle etc....... getting fed up looking through details of policies on line, sometimes having to ring them to find they aren't giving me the cover I want.
Have considered ADAC but finding that difficult to actually find what I would be covered for.
I would usually get the breakdown
insurance when I renew my
insurance but the wife won a years
insurance with Sureterm which we managed to get with no European time limit but the maximum breakdown cover is 90 days
I think some of the companies deliberately bury information in the T&C, I thought I had found one that would cover me then way down near the exclusions I found they didn't cover vehicles over 3.5 ton & again the max cover was 90 days total in a year
this was supposed to be a 5 star plus package. I persoanlly think European cover should be just that any time limits should be up front & not buried deep in the document. I even purchased breakdown
insurance after asking all the questions when I bought over the phone, when the
insurance came I found that reading through I wasn't covered on at least 3 of the T&C's I then had to argue to get a refund.
